1. 개요
소환술사 1.03을 기반으로 만든 스타크래프트2의 아케이드 맵.초기 버전인 소환술사1이 있고 소환술사 1.03 (버그 수정판), 소환술사 테스트 수익UP 등의 시리즈가 있다.
2. 하는 방법
맵 상단에 관문, 우주관문이 있고 거기에서 유닛을 생산하면 각 종족에 맞는 소환물이 '소환술사' 옆에 소환된다.소환술사의 종족은 저그, 테란, 프로토스를 기반으로 총 11개 종족이 존재한다.[1]
게임이 시작한 시점에서 각 플레이어들은 무작위로 종족을 배정받으며, 각 플레이어마다 1회의 종족 변경 기회가 주어진다.[2]
'소환술사'는 이동속도는 느리지만 이를 보완할 돌진 스킬 / 무적 방어막 등의 스킬이 존재하며 높은 체력과 방어력을 지니고 있다.
각 플레이어들은 자신들의 소환물을 이용해 교전하여 자신을 제외한 다른 플레이어의 소환술사를 처치하면 승리한다.
관문에서 뽑을 수 있는 유닛은 4가지. 각각 60, 105, 205, 400 가스를 소모하여 해당 종족에 맞는 유닛을 소환한다.
우주관문에서 뽑을 수 있는 유닛은 4가지. 각각 1000, 2000, 3000, 4500 가스를 소모하여 해당 종족에 맞는 유닛을 소환한다. 우주관문에서 생산하는 유닛들은 처음에는 생산할 수 없으며, 각 플레이어의 '미네랄 수치'에 따라 순차적으로 해금된다.
이외에도 생산된 소환물을, 일정 가스를 소모하여 상위 유닛으로 진화할 수도 있다. 유닛 진화가 가능한 소환물은 종족마다 다르며 진화가 없는 유닛도 있다.[3][4]
또한 저그, 테란, 프로토스 종족 중 일꾼 소환이 가능한 종족은 각 종족에 맞는 건물을 건설할 수 있다. 대부분 큰 도움은 되지 않는 것들이지만 다른 유닛을 생산하는 기능이 있는 건물들은 후반에서도 대단히 유용하게 사용된다.[5]
자신의 소환물이 사망하거나, 다른 소환물을 처치했을 경우에는 유닛 가격에 비례하여 약간의 '미네랄와 가스'를 획득한다.
가스는 유닛을 소환하는데 사용되는 자원이며, 미네랄은 위에서 언급한 '고급 유닛의 생산 권한을 해금'하는 용도와 일정 수치에 도달할 때마다 초당 들어오는 '가스 수입 증가'에 사용된다. 미네랄은 소모되지 않으며 무조건 쌓이기만 한다.
3. 플레이 팁
* 2010년대에 개발된 원작 특성상, 게임에서 다수의 유닛들이 돌아다니며 전투를 했을 때 발생하는 연산을 제대로 감당하지 못해 플레이 중 렉이 일상적으로 발생한다. 이는 맵의 최적화 문제를 떠나서 게임 자체의 문제이기 때문에 완전히 해결할 수 없는 문제이다.[6]* 갈 수록 플레이어 숫자가 감소하는 원작 특성에, 특정 맵을 플레이하는 사람들의 숫자는 더욱 적은 게임이기에 플레이 할 때 서로 지켜야할 암묵적인 규칙이 몇 개 존재한다. 게임 초중반에는 소환술사 본체를 죽이지 않기 / 전투에 패배하더라도 소환술사 본체는 놓아주기 등등.. 다만 규칙을 모르거나 알고도 무시하는 경우가 많으니 주의.
* 매 3분마다 맵 중앙에서 중립 소환물이 등장하는데, 이 소환물을 처치하면 동일한 유닛이 처치한 플레이어의 소유로 재등장한다. 초반에는 먹어도 큰 이익은 없는 유닛들이, 후반으로 갈 수록 상당한 이익이 되는 고급 유닛들이 등장한다.[7][8][9]

[1] 저그 4종족, 테란 4종족, 프로토스 3종족[2] 다만 종족 변경 기능에 버그가 있어, 종족 변경이 이루어지지 않는 경우가 왕왕 발생한다.[3] 예시) 해병 -> 정예해병 -> 짐레이너 (일반), 해병 -> 의무관 -> 이곤 스탯먼, 거신 -> '초'거신, 히드라리스크 -> 여왕 -> 케리건 (군단), 히드라리스크 -> 가시지옥 히드라리스크 -> 가시지옥, 일벌레 -> 뮤탈리스크 등등.. 종류가 매우 많다.[4] 진화에 필요한 가스는 유닛마다 다르지만, 최종적으로 필요한 가스의 총량은 60 ~ 4500을 벗어나지 않는다.[5] 특히 프로토스의 거대 수정탑과 여기서 생산되는 '제라툴'은 해당 종족의 최후반 전력을 담당하는 주력 유닛으로도 사용된다.[6] CPU/GPU 성능이 높을수록 렉의 발생 빈도나 수준이 낮아지긴 하지만, 근본적으로 렉이 없어지긴 힘들다.[7] 초반에는 12분에 등장하는 망치 경호대 + 불곰 + 로리 스완 조합 / 15분에 등장하는 뮤탈리스크들이 큰 도움이 되는 유닛들이다.[8] 망치 경호대는 그레이븐 힐로 진화가 가능한데, 그레이븐 힐은 전쟁광 혹은 망치 경호대를 생산할 수 있어 그레이븐 힐의 숫자를 불릴 수 있다. 화력 높은 지상 유닛이 부족한 종족들은 이를 통해 전력을 보강하고, 그레이븐 힐에 붙은 수리 드론으로 자힐도 가능하기 때문에 대단히 유용.[9] 뮤탈리스크는 공생충 뮤탈리스크 -> 무리 군주로 진화가 가능하다. 공생충 타격으로 전투를 보조해주어서 좋고, 무리 군주를 직접 생산할 수 있는 군단 저그 종족에서도 조금 더 싸게 무리 군주를 얻을 수 있어 유용하다.
